Who is Chris Thomas, & what is the Chris Thomas Band all about?
Chris Thomas was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. His father was a struggling street artist & his mother a poet. His mom shared the most spiritual parts of her life with him including music & art. In the late 80's Chris moved to Denver, Colorado & he now resides in New Jersey. Throughout his musical career Chris has preformed in acoustic duo's & has appeared in various 4 & 5 piece bands as well as performing solo acoustic shows. Chris has always approached his goals both spiritually & emotionally, Chris' musical styles cover a broad spectrum as he blends Blues, Funk, Jazz & Rock into a creative array of emotion.
"It could be he's laying down a solid musical groove or filling the void with a textured Funk or Blues melody. Perhaps it may even be a bit of an R&B feel. Or maybe it's just Chris' heart & soul Blues / Funk enveloped style". You're sure to dance, sing or just lay back & enjoy the show.
Chris Thomas has always been known as a spontaneous guitarist / vocalist... always wearing his heart on his sleeve & performing from his soul. He'll "Bring It" every night, always.
